I love Books

I felt like posting something today, so here you go:
Have some photography I did with my sister's iPod.

:)

The quality sucks.

I seriously need some more bookshelves...

...'cause they're three rows deep in my closet.

And here is a little doodle I did last year. I thought it kind of fit this post. ;]

Until next post!

Commissions, Commissions, Commissions!

Hello again beautiful world!

After returning home from two weeks in Cali and one in Colorado, this girl is ready to sloooow down. -__- But, now I finally have time to post again!

A few weeks ago, a friend of mine had a birthday. I made her a card, and she used the chibi I drew for her profile pic and put a link to my blog in her profile. Now, she's a crazy awesome photographer guys. Seriously. 1.3K followers. Check her out here or her instagram under the username @brighter.stars. (Her instagram has more photos.) I say all this because I all of a sudden got a heck ton of page views and a couple commissions! Three requests in three days in fact.

*cue brain explosion*

Let's just say I was flabbergasted. It took a bit, but finally I found out where all the traffic was coming from and my friend received a very hearty thank you!

So, to all my commissioners: THANK YOU SO MUCH!
*hugs*
I always feel so special when I discover that email in my inbox... :)

This experience  has been amazing; however, it has also made me realize that some things will be changing:

1. Commissions are no longer going to be free.
(I have no idea if this means I just flushed all future commissions down the toilet... but hey! I work hard on them!)

2. Commissions will be closed until October.
(With school starting again, the next two months are going to be busy and I will not have time to spend on requests.)

3. I need to become better.
(We all have room for improvement! Maybe I'll be able to take some art classes??)

And now I'll shut up and just show you the commissions I've been ranting about...

For Natalie.
This took a while, but it was a good challenge!
Thank you for your quick and continued communication!! (It was very appreciated...)

For Emma.
I enjoyed drawing this for you.
Thank you for your kind words!

For Sophie.
Although slightly vague, I still enjoyed drawing this for you. Thank you!

And now, I really will shut my cake hole and let you continue with your business. Thanks for reading!

Ciao!
